Rhonda Pettit Anderson is an artist based in San Diego, CA. She is an expressionist with a variety of mediums from water media, colored pencils and graphite. She explores all subject matter, particularly the natural world as well as portraits and figures. Often with a narrative in mind, from lyrics of a song, lines from a book and/or movie, or a personal life story, she composes a painting using color and texture to invite the viewer to understand and feel the universal feeling of a particular situation shared by all human beings throughout the world. She is influenced by many artists and has taken many workshops with master artists and has an Associate’s Degree in Fine Art. She has participated in both local and international exhibitions and has won many awards for her work.
